It’s just a three-minute walk from Corinthian House and covers practically anyone's taste preferences and dietary requirements. The complex is connected to East Croydon station, making it a good stop for dinner before catching the public transport.

Music lovers should head over to The Oval Tavern and enjoy some of their tasty food and local ales with plenty of vegetarian options. In the summertime beer garden is a most lively atmosphere. Art Galleries in Croydon

RISEgallery is an easy eight-minute walk from Corinthian House. Open Tuesday to Saturday, if you finish work early you can take a quick look before they close at 6pm.

Croydon Clocktower is an historic arts museum consisting of The Museum of Croydon Galleries and Riesco Gallery, and of course the Clocktower is a bit of a spectacle itself. Inside there is also The David Lean Cinema showing select British and world films including classic re-releases. It’s worth checking out and only a twelve-minute walk from Corinthian House.

Matthews Yard is an arts and entertainment hub in Croydon’s Old Town (thirteen-minute walk from Corinthian House). It boasts an art gallery, crowdfunded theatre, live music performances, vegan food and an active programme of events. Open Wednesdays to Sundays, later than most galleries, you can be sure to relax in the artistic atmosphere i.e. Friday till 11pm.

Nature and Sports

If you’re a bike enthusiast, we can recommend Wandle Trail starting from Wandle Park in Croydon and running along the River Wandle. Of course, it is also possible to hike the 12 miles, which is great for taking the camera out.
